“Alan Shearer BEGS Bruno Guimaraes to Turn Newcastle into Transfer Titans for £85M MEGA STAR!”

Alan Shearer has suggested that Bruno Guimaraes could potentially persuade Real Madrid star Rodrygo to consider a move to Newcastle United.

In recent weeks, speculation has grown around the future of the 24-year-old forward.

Reports indicate that Rodrygo may be contemplating a summer transfer, primarily due to frustration over his role at Real Madrid.

With Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior expected to dominate the attacking positions, Rodrygo’s opportunities could become more limited, prompting uncertainty about his long-term future at the Bernabeu.

Rodrygo has already secured two Champions League trophies with Los Blancos and would command a substantial fee.

With three years remaining on his contract, his valuation reportedly stands at around £85 million, which would represent a record signing for Newcastle should they make a move.

At this stage, there have been no concrete indications from Newcastle’s side that Rodrygo is an active transfer target.

However, Shearer, the club’s all-time leading goalscorer, hinted that Guimaraes might play a key role if any interest were to materialize, potentially putting in a good word on behalf of the club.

Speaking to Betfair, Shearer shared his thoughts on Rodrygo and the possibility of a move to Tyneside. “I think Rodrygo would do very well in the Premier League—he’s an outstanding player,” he said.

“I’ve heard that maybe one or two English clubs were looking at him last year. If it’s true that he’s unsettled at Real Madrid, then there will be no shortage of Premier League clubs interested.

“There are probably two or three clubs who would want to sign him. Newcastle could be among them, depending on the circumstances.

The question is, can he adapt to the Premier League? I think he could definitely do it at Newcastle.

“Of course, finances will play a big role in that. But I wouldn’t rule out Newcastle considering him.

I don’t know the ins and outs of his personal situation, but I’d imagine there would be a few clubs keeping tabs on him.

And with Bruno Guimaraes knowing him well, he could definitely talk to him about Newcastle if it came to that.”

Meanwhile, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti addressed recent speculation surrounding Rodrygo after the Brazilian was absent from their 4-3 loss to Barcelona.

The Italian coach dismissed the transfer rumours, stating that Rodrygo’s absence was due to physical issues.

“Rodrygo had some discomfort in his leg,” Ancelotti clarified. “He was also dealing with a fever and didn’t train last week, so he wasn’t fully fit.

He’s understandably upset, but that’s all there is to it. Everyone here cares for Rodrygo, myself included.”

As for Newcastle, manager Eddie Howe has emphasized the importance of the upcoming transfer window. “This summer is going to be a huge one for us,” Howe told the media.

“We’re missing key players, and that’s left a gap. While the lads who stepped in have done well, we’ve been stretched.

Bringing in players like Sven Botman and Anthony Gordon was a boost, but we need more depth if we’re to compete at the highest level.”
