Speaking on talkSPORT (9 December, 9:24 am), former Everton winger Aaron Lennon and Ally McCoist agreed that relegation would be disastrous for Everton’s future.
The Blues are set to move to their new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium in summer 2025, and Lennon expressed confidence that Sean Dyche would ensure Premier League survival in their final season at Goodison Park.
Lennon said: “Staying in the league must be the only aim this season—100 per cent.
With the new stadium coming, relegation would be an absolute disaster. I’m confident they’ll stay up, and for me, Sean (Dyche) is the man to make that happen.”
