The 22-year-old right-back left Leeds United last month at the end of his contract, rejecting a new deal at Elland Road to sign with Hull City.
Cody Drameh, set to be announced on Tuesday (23 July), has passed a medical and will join Tigers manager Tim Walter and his new teammates.
Drameh has signed a three-year deal, with Hull holding an option to extend the contract by an additional 12 months. Hull City beat strong competition from Sheffield United to secure Drameh’s signature.
Last season, Drameh was on loan at Birmingham City, where he made 30 appearances and provided four assists, despite the club’s relegation to League One.
Hull City outbid Sheffield United for Drameh, who also has Championship experience from loans at Cardiff and Luton. Drameh joined Leeds from Fulham in 2020 as a promising talent but failed to secure a first-team spot, making just 10 senior appearances for Leeds, totaling 450 minutes.
The former England Under-21 international is Hull’s second signing of the summer window, following Ryan Giles, who joined after spending the latter half of the 2023-24 season on loan at the KCOM Stadium.
Hull City will kick off their 2024-25 season at home against Bristol City on 10 August.
