Another Spurs Injury And Player will Be Out For Couple Of months

Throughout the ongoing season, Tottenham Hotspur has found itself grappling with an unfortunate string of injuries, affecting nearly every facet of the team at different points in time. The latest addition to their injury list is Fraser Forster, the club’s backup goalkeeper.

Manager Ange Postecoglou revealed in his pre-match press conference that the 35-year-old shot-stopper has suffered a foot fracture, rendering him unavailable for a significant duration.

Addressing the media, Postecoglou remarked (as reported by Football London), “Probably the major one for us is Fraser Forster – got a knock in training, got a fracture in his foot. He’ll probably miss conservatively a couple of months.”

Forster, a seasoned England international, remains under contract with Tottenham until the end of the current season, with more than a year left on his deal. The towering goalkeeper made his way to the North London outfit in the summer of 2022 from Southampton, securing a two-year contract on a free transfer. However, his tenure was extended until the summer of 2025 after his contract was renewed in December of the previous year.

This injury setback adds to Tottenham’s ongoing challenges with player fitness, with numerous key personnel experiencing spells on the sidelines due to various ailments.
