“Tottenham’s Jaw-Dropping Plot to Snag ‘Mind-Blowing’ £40M Superstar for Frank Will Leave You Speechless!”

Tottenham Hotspur Plot Move for Brentford’s Yoane Wissa

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing a formal bid to sign Brentford forward Yoane Wissa, with new manager Thomas Frank eager to reunite with the 28-year-old, according to TEAMtalk.

After replacing Ange Postecoglou—who delivered Europa League success and a Champions League berth—Frank is expected to oversee a major squad reshuffle this summer.

The Dane is targeting reinforcements up front and has identified Wissa as a key attacking option.

Frank is aiming to bring in players who understand his tactical demands, and Wissa fits that profile perfectly.

The Congo international enjoyed a standout 2024/25 campaign, stepping up in Ivan Toney’s absence to score 19 Premier League goals, becoming Brentford’s all-time leading scorer in the competition.

Brentford are keen to secure Wissa’s long-term future and are ready to offer him a new deal. However, Spurs are hopeful they can lure him across London to compete for the central striker role alongside Dominic Solanke.

Tottenham have also been linked with a move for Wissa’s teammate Bryan Mbeumo, though the winger is said to favour a transfer to Manchester United, casting doubt over Spurs’ chances of landing him.

Additionally, Spurs hold interest in Brentford defender Nathan Collins—another player Frank rates highly—but strengthening the attack appears to be the immediate priority.

Internal discussions have already taken place regarding a move for Wissa, and Tottenham are weighing up an official offer. Brentford, meanwhile, are understood to value the striker at no less than£40 million.
