Hatton had committed to TGL, an innovative golf league founded by McIlroy and Woods, which was originally scheduled to launch this month. However, due to damage to its Palm Beach stadium late last year, the league’s debut has been postponed until the beginning of 2025.
Leading up to the intended launch, players who had pledged their commitment to TGL were assigned positions on one of six teams. Hatton joined McIlroy, Keegan Bradley, and Adam Scott at Boston Common.
Recent reports suggest that Hatton’s future on the TGL roster is uncertain, as the Ryder Cup star is reportedly on the brink of making the move to LIV Golf.
