According to BBC Sport journalist Simon Stone, the West Ham board remains fully supportive of Lopetegui for the moment but recognizes that results must improve soon.

Stone explained, “Julen Lopetegui’s tenure at West Ham is very much in the balance.

Amid speculation about his future, club sources have told me they are still 100% behind Lopetegui, but results have to improve.

The Hammers face tough games ahead, including Newcastle and Arsenal, putting more pressure on Lopetegui to deliver.”

Divided Opinions Within West Ham’s Leadership

TBR Football’s Graeme Bailey reports that West Ham chairman David Sullivan is adamant about giving Lopetegui more time.

However, other members of the club’s hierarchy are pushing for a managerial change, citing the team’s underwhelming performances.

TBR Football also revealed that a loss to Everton would likely have marked the end of Lopetegui’s tenure.

Instead, the game ended in a draw, offering the manager a temporary reprieve.
