West Ham United Have Been Strongly Linked with Several Players This Summer Transfer Window
Julen Lopetegui has had a stellar summer transfer window at West Ham, bringing in eight new players to the London Stadium.

Although West Ham showed interest in Clarke in January and those links resurfaced recently, he is set to move to Ipswich Town instead.
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Clarke’s transfer to Ipswich is imminent, with the deal expected to be around £20 million.
Ipswich’s need for Clarke is arguably greater than West Ham’s, especially considering that the Hammers already have Summerville in the squad.
Given this, Lopetegui should prioritize strengthening other areas of the team before the window closes.
The need for a central midfielder, a striker, and even a left-back is more pressing than the need for another left winger.
If West Ham were truly intent on signing Clarke, they likely would have been able to secure him ahead of Ipswich, given their resources.
As West Ham focuses on other priorities, best wishes go to Jack Clarke at Ipswich.
Although he wasn’t a necessary addition for West Ham at this moment, he might be a potential target in the future.
Now, Lopetegui needs to concentrate on making the most of the remaining time in the transfer window to complete his squad for the season ahead.
