“Better Suited” – ExWHUEmployee Reveals West Ham’s Decision on Midfielder

Carlos Soler to Return to PSG After Loan Spell, Reports ExWHUEmployee

Spain international Carlos Soler joined West Ham last summer as part of a major squad overhaul under Julen Lopetegui, who replaced David Moyes.

However, with Lopetegui now dismissed, it appears Soler will also be departing.

Graham Potter has since taken charge and is preparing for another summer of change in East London.

His right-hand man and current Head of Recruitment, Kyle Macaulay, is expected to oversee another squad rebuild to fit Potter’s vision for the club.

Despite showing flashes of quality, Soler has not made a significant impact in the Premier League.

According to club insider Ex, West Ham will not pursue a permanent deal for the midfielder.

“Carlos Soler will return to PSG at the end of the season, with the club opting against signing him,” Ex revealed on The West Ham Way Patreon.

“Potter believes James Ward-Prowse is a better fit and has already made an impact since returning from his Nottingham Forest loan in January.

“Soler’s wages are also a major factor, so he will return to PSG while West Ham explores alternative options this summer.”
