BOMBSHELL: Everton Plotting the ULTIMATE Betrayal – Ready to Snatch Liverpool Legend Who’s Been ABSOLUTELY UNSTOPPABLE Since Ditching the Reds! “He’s Been FANTASTIC!” – Goodison About to ERUPT!

Everton have reportedly turned their attention to a former Liverpool midfielder who has flourished since leaving Anfield, emerging as a standout performer abroad and now attracting renewed Premier League interest.

Moyes “thrilled” after gritty Bournemouth victory

Following a heavy setback against Newcastle United last weekend, Everton travelled to Bournemouth in desperate need of a positive response — and David Moyes got exactly that.

While the display was far from elegant, the Toffees secured a valuable win thanks to Jack Grealish’s second goal of the campaign.

Speaking after the match, Moyes admitted the contest was far from perfect but praised the determination his players showed:

“It was a tough performance. It maybe wasn’t the tidiest or the cleanest we’ve produced, but overall I felt we were the better side.

It looked like whoever scored the first goal was going to take control, and luckily it fell our way. After that, we created a couple more chances that could have put the game to bed.

“But I’m thrilled. Bournemouth hasn’t been a happy hunting ground for Everton in the past, so coming here and earning back-to-back away wins is really pleasing.”

Although Everton’s performances this season have lacked consistency, they have often found ways to grind out important results.

Those points have helped create a solid platform for the remainder of the campaign.

Securing a top-half finish in their first season at the Hill Dickinson Stadium would represent a significant achievement and, more importantly, put them in a strong position heading into the next transfer window — particularly as they monitor potential signings such as Tyler Morton.

The former Liverpool midfielder could be in line for a Premier League return, and Everton may attempt to pull off a surprise deal.

Everton monitoring Lyon standout Tyler Morton

According to TeamTalk, Everton are closely studying Morton’s progress after his impressive rise at Lyon.

Since swapping Liverpool’s reserve setup for regular senior football in Ligue 1, the 23-year-old has developed into a commanding midfield presence and looks increasingly like a player Liverpool may ultimately regret letting go.

Journalist Bence Bocsak labelled Morton a “fantastic footballer” earlier in the season, and his continued growth suggests he could end up strengthening one of Liverpool’s biggest rivals.

For Everton, Morton represents an ideal successor to James Garner, who is expected to depart on a free transfer when his contract expires next summer.

The young midfielder’s composure, passing range and capacity to dictate the tempo of matches make him an appealing option for Moyes, who has been seeking greater control in the middle of the park.

If the price is right, Everton could not only secure a rising talent but also score a symbolic victory over their neighbours by recruiting a player once viewed as a future star at Anfield.
