Boyd Urges Leeds to Sign Attacker After Portsmouth Performance: ‘They’ve Got the Money’

He suggested that the club should consider using funds from the sales of Archie Gray, Glen Kamara, and Crysencio Summerville to acquire Wales forward Sammie Szmodics.
Boyd was not impressed with Joseph’s performance and argued, “They created numerous opportunities but failed to capitalize, relying heavily on Willy Gnonto and Dan James.
Jayden Bogle and Junior Firpo also pushed forward and delivered crosses, but Joseph’s efforts were unconvincing.”
Despite Boyd’s concerns, Leeds’ three goals in the game suggest they were capable of scoring, and a different outcome could have been possible with a bit more luck.
The match had the makings of a classic Championship opener, and while a win would have been ideal, it’s important to remember that it was only the first game of a 46-match season.
There is no need for alarm at this stage. Although adding a few new players, including Szmodics, could be beneficial, it’s crucial to exercise patience.
