BREAKING: INSIDER LEAK! Tottenham Plotting SENSATIONAL Raid for England International Superstar to REPLACE Unhappy Star – You Won’t Believe Who’s Being Axed!

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering a move for Dean Henderson as they prepare for a potentially pivotal summer transfer window.

According to reports from Football Insider, Spurs are monitoring the Crystal Palace shot-stopper amid growing uncertainty surrounding their current first-choice goalkeeper.

The situation has developed following comments from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who recently revealed that Guglielmo Vicario is “fully open” to a summer switch to Inter Milan.

Vicario has been heavily linked with a return to Italy in recent months, and Inter are understood to be long-term admirers.

The 27-year-old nearly joined the Serie A giants before making the move to north London, and with interest now reignited, a transfer back to his homeland appears increasingly plausible if formal talks progress.

Should Vicario depart, Spurs would be forced to prioritise the recruitment of a new number one goalkeeper. As a result, Henderson has emerged as a serious candidate.

Henderson has firmly established himself as Palace’s first-choice keeper over the past few seasons.

Despite competition from goalkeepers such as Walter Benítez and Sam Johnstone, the England international has retained his starting role and delivered a series of assured performances in the Premier League.

His consistency, command of the penalty area, and shot-stopping ability have not gone unnoticed.

A former scout speaking to Football Insider claimed that Tottenham are among several clubs keeping a close eye on Henderson’s situation.

Spurs are believed to be assessing multiple goalkeeping options, but Henderson is said to be one of the names that has particularly impressed the club’s recruitment team.

If Vicario is sold, Tottenham will not only require a replacement but ideally someone capable of strengthening the squad immediately.

Vicario’s performances this season have attracted mixed reviews, with some observers suggesting a dip in form compared to his early displays.

Consequently, losing him may not be viewed internally as a devastating setback, provided an upgrade can be secured.

Henderson, at 28, combines experience with maturity and could represent a reliable long-term solution between the posts.

However, negotiating with Crystal Palace may prove challenging. The South London club have already endured key departures in recent windows and may be reluctant to sanction another high-profile exit.

With several Palace players attracting external interest, the club would likely demand a significant fee before considering any sale.

In terms of valuation, Henderson’s market worth is commonly estimated at around €25 million (approximately £21 million), with some club-based models rating him closer to €28 million (£24 million).

Palace originally signed him in 2023 for around £15 million plus add-ons, providing a financial benchmark for negotiations. Given that his contract reportedly runs until 2028, Palace hold strong leverage.

Realistically, any deal would likely require an offer in the region of £25–30 million, with the possibility of exceeding £30 million should competition for his signature intensify.

Overall, Henderson appears to be a credible and attainable target if Tottenham move decisively this summer.
