Celtic Eyes ‘World Class’ £15M Free Agent…
When I say “overused,” I mean that the Celtic manager should have refrained from making public comments suggesting that the current players are insufficient. Essentially, that’s what he did. But that’s a topic for another discussion. There’s a player at Leicester City whose contract is nearing its end, and whom Rodgers previously praised as “world-class,” making him a potentially excellent signing for Celtic in the upcoming summer transfer window.
At 27 years old, he’s reaching his peak and could offer considerable resale value. Wilfred Ndidi, the Nigerian international, has been previously linked with Celtic. Last summer, there were rumors that Rodgers was interested in bringing his former midfield partner to Glasgow, having worked closely with him at Leicester.

Ndidi was part of the Leicester squad that won the FA Cup and the Community Shield under Rodgers’ management, but the team is now in the English Championship. With 344 career appearances and 53 caps for Nigeria, Ndidi possesses the quality and experience that Rodgers has been seeking.
