“Confirmed: Fabrizio Romano Says ‘Perfect Player’ Could Be West Ham’s Next Signing”

West Ham United may soon sign a player who Julen Lopetegui considers “perfect” for the team, according to Fabrizio Romano.

West Ham’s Summer Signings

West Ham’s technical director, Tim Steidten, has overseen the acquisition of eight new players this summer. However, the club’s transfer activities may not be over yet.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is the latest addition, joining from Manchester United. After signing, Wan-Bissaka told the club’s official website: “It was a no-brainer for me to join West Ham – I’m excited and happy to be here,” said the 26-year-old, who will wear the No. 29 shirt.

“It’s an amazing feeling to be back in London, and I’m excited for what’s coming. I was born here, so I know the ins and outs of London, which plays a big part in my life. To be back playing in this city means a lot to me.”

Following Wan-Bissaka’s signing, West Ham has been linked with additional players, including Nantes’ Nathan Zeze and Paris Saint-Germain’s Carlos Soler.

A bid for Zeze was reportedly made and declined, while the Hammers are keen to expedite a move for Soler. Romano has recently discussed Soler’s potential move to West Ham.

Romano on Soler’s Potential Transfer

In a conversation with GiveMeSport, Romano confirmed that the links between West Ham and Soler are “true” and that he could be the “next” signing for the Hammers.

“That (Soler) is a concrete option for West Ham. It’s true, he’s one of the names they have on their shortlist.

They need to assess all the possibilities and consider all the options. They’ve been fantastic in the summer transfer window.

Wan-Bissaka was a tough one, not an easy deal. They’ve managed to secure it both from the player and club side, despite complicated negotiations.

“Todibo’s transfer saga was also quite intense. West Ham has been working hard to bring in new players in recent weeks.

Now they are considering Carlos Soler. It’s true; it’s a possibility. I think he could probably be the next one.”

Romano further added that Julen Lopetegui is actively pushing for Soler’s transfer, believing that Soler would be an ideal fit for the Premier League.

“What I’m hearing is that Julen Lopetegui is pushing a lot to have Soler. He believes that Soler could be a perfect solution and a perfect player for the Premier League with his skills.

I think he could probably be the next one [signing].”

Carlos Soler, 27, is valued at around £17 million by PSG. Previous reports have indicated that the asking price won’t be an issue for West Ham.

Romano’s recent comments suggest that the transfer rumors are well-founded and may soon materialize.
