Newcastle United have reportedly been informed of the release clause for Athletic Bilbao midfielder Oihan Sancet, following renewed interest from Premier League clubs.

The talented Spanish playmaker, who has also attracted attention from Manchester United and Arsenal in previous transfer windows, remains under contract with Bilbao until 2032.

However, sources from the Basque region claim that Sancet could be available for around £69 million.
