Despite their efforts, Leicester City was arguably the stronger side throughout the game, yet they still exhibited numerous shortcomings.
Boubakary Soumare made a surprise cameo appearance that ended positively, as he provided the assist for Ayew’s crucial equalizer.
The composure shown by Ayew in finishing the chance was commendable.
However, apart from that moment of brilliance, several performances on the pitch were lacking, particularly from one player who may face being dropped after this outing.
Stephy Mavididi, a Leicester City forward, could find himself on the bench following a disappointing performance against Ipswich Town.
The Foxes have struggled with consistency in their attacking play, aside from the reliable contributions from Jamie Vardy and Facundo Buonanotte.

Meanwhile, wide players Bilal El Khannouss and Kasey McAteer have yet to make a significant impact in the 2024/25 Premier League season.
If Mavididi retains his place in the lineup for the upcoming match against Manchester United, it will likely be due to the lack of stronger options available.
Nonetheless, Cooper will be mindful that a repeat of Mavididi’s performance against Ipswich would not be acceptable moving forward.
