Leeds United will face Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough on Friday night in the Sky Bet Championship.
The Whites are seeking their first win of the season after drawing their first two matches.
In contrast, Sheffield Wednesday has won one and lost one, with both games ending 4-0.
Ahead of the Yorkshire derby, Leeds manager Daniel Farke provided an update on the team.
He mentioned, “The only concern is Max Wober, as his calf issues haven’t improved, so he missed training.
It will be a late decision whether he’s available for this game. He’s the only doubt; everyone else is fit.”
Farke continued, “Against Sheffield Wednesday, we need to deliver a comprehensive performance.
They had an impressive finish to last season and a strong start this year, winning convincingly against Plymouth.
They will be highly motivated for this Friday evening fixture, which is a Yorkshire derby under the floodlights.”
He added, “Sheffield Wednesday always plays with intensity, spirit, and cohesion. We need to be ready for that and ensure we bring our own strengths to the game.
I was pleased with our defensive work against West Brom and want us to replicate that.
However, we also need to improve our quality in possession and create more chances in the final third to score goals. A well-rounded performance will be crucial for this match.”
