“Perfect solution” – King proposes Tottenham swap deal with Saudi club for high-profile player
Bryan King suggests Tottenham consider swap deal with Al-Ahli involving Richarlison and Ivan Toney.

A former Spurs scout believes a transfer deal involving Richarlison and Ivan Toney could be “the perfect solution” for Tottenham, amid ongoing speculation about the Brazilian forward’s future.
Richarlison has been linked with a move away from North London, including a possible return to Everton or a lucrative switch to the Saudi Pro League.
According to Fichajes (1 December), Toney is reportedly considering a return to England, with Tottenham and Chelsea both showing interest in the Brentford striker.
This has sparked suggestions that Spurs could explore a creative transfer strategy.
Speaking to Tottenham News, the former scout, King, shared his thoughts on the situation:
“Players only go to Saudi for one reason, and that’s money. You’re not going to improve your football there.
It’s fine for someone like Cristiano Ronaldo, who’s nearing the end of his career, but Toney isn’t.
While the money is great, he could still earn very well in the Premier League.

“I think Tottenham should have moved for Toney in the summer.
They still need a reliable forward, as Richarlison is constantly unavailable.
Bringing in Toney, possibly as part of a swap deal for Richarlison, would be an excellent solution.”
Tottenham to Swap Richarlison for Toney?
Richarlison’s persistent injury troubles have limited his availability and caused frustration at Tottenham.
Offloading him and signing an experienced Premier League striker like Toney could benefit the team significantly.
Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou would likely welcome the addition of Toney to bolster his attacking options alongside Dominic Solanke.
However, a potential deal may hinge on Toney accepting a wage cut, particularly if Saudi clubs remain in the mix for Richarlison.
Whether this swap materializes remains uncertain, but it could offer Spurs a practical way to strengthen their squad while resolving their issues with Richarlison.
