George’s potential arrival has drawn comparisons with Iliman Ndiaye, another attacker who arrived at Everton as something of a calculated gamble before flourishing under Moyes.
When Ndiaye joined in 2024, he had limited Premier League experience despite an impressive record at Sheffield United, where he registered 22 goals and 14 assists.
He has since developed into a key figure for the Toffees, earning praise for his creativity and flair, and now boasts 15 goals and two assists from 52 appearances across multiple attacking roles.
George, described as a “special” talent by scout Jacek Kulig, has also shown flashes of his quality despite limited senior minutes at Chelsea.
The England U21 international has scored three goals from just 492 minutes this season, with coaches such as Liam Rosenior labelling him a “top-class” prospect.
Versatile across the frontline, George could offer genuine competition for places, including centrally, while primarily favouring the left wing.
With injuries opening up opportunities and Moyes keen to climb the Premier League table, the prospect of pairing George with Ndiaye presents an exciting attacking outlook for Everton as they look ahead.
