Today’s match between West Ham and Everton was anticipated to be low-scoring, but it turned out to be possibly the dullest game of the season.

However, even if West Ham had won, it would not have been a fair result – they were fortunate not to face a heavier defeat, as happened the previous weekend.

This disappointing outcome adds pressure on manager Julen Lopetegui, with fans growing increasingly frustrated.

Whether or not he is dismissed, the performance needs to improve, or his position will become untenable.
