Kleindienst has enjoyed a strong season in Germany and has caught the eye not just for his scoring, but for his all-around contribution.

His talents haven’t gone unnoticed, with Germany’s sporting director Rudi Völler recently praising his hold-up play, saying: “Scoring is key for a striker, yes, but the way he held the ball up was just as important. And his heading ability stood out in the first leg.”
