Iliman Ndiaye looks poised to dominate Everton’s January transfer headlines.

Football finance specialist Dan Plumley suggests that a sufficiently lucrative bid would almost certainly force Everton to evaluate their stance.
Despite the Friedkin family beginning to stabilise the club’s previously chaotic finances, a sizeable profit could still be tempting.
“There is always a scenario where you don’t sell,” Plumley explained to Goodison News. “The new ownership structure has improved the balance sheet.
Some of the debt has been removed, which helps, but the club is still operating at a loss.
“On the other hand, we know they are not cash-rich. There is always a temptation to retain your best players when you are heading in the right direction—and Ndiaye is one of the standout performers.
“But in the current European football economy, if a club like Juventus arrives with a big-money offer—perhaps triple what Everton paid—and the overall package looks attractive, the likelihood of accepting it is very high.
“If that level of money is on the table, Everton would have to give it serious consideration. Almost any club would.”
Everton must resist selling Iliman Ndiaye
Despite financial pressures, Everton simply cannot afford to part with Ndiaye if they are serious about competing for European qualification.
The Senegal forward currently boasts a better shot accuracy and conversion rate than Erling Haaland in the Premier League, making him indispensable—especially with Beto and Thierno Barry struggling for form.
This transfer saga will undoubtedly continue to develop, but Everton must shut down any possibility of a sale the moment January arrives.
