Valued at around £17.3million, he has also attracted attention from RB Leipzig and Roma. Moretto suggests Franculino is one of the key names to watch in the closing stages of the transfer window.
Moyes is eager to add more firepower after a disappointing goal return last season, when only the three relegated sides scored fewer than Everton.
His current options up front include Beto, Barry, and Yousseff Chermiti, but Beto has been linked with a departure, and Barry may need time to adapt to English football.
Securing Franculino would not only increase depth but also allow Moyes to pair him with Barry, giving the side a fresh tactical dimension.
