Everton in Ongoing Talks to Sign £30m Attacker Compared to Ronaldo

Everton's Unusual Summer: Toffees Lose Key Player Amadou Onana Without a Replacement in Sight

Having already signed Jesper Lindstrom, Jake O’Brien, and Iliman Ndiaye, Sean Dyche is still focused on bolstering Everton’s attacking options. The club is now interested in recruiting Ramon Sosa from Paraguayan club Talleres.

After missing out on Savinho earlier this summer, it’s clear that Everton is determined to strengthen their forward ranks in the final two weeks of the transfer window, aiming to avoid another relegation battle.

In an ambitious move, Everton has initiated talks to sign a forward from FC Barcelona.

Everton in Negotiations to Sign Barcelona Wonderkid Vitor Roque

According to Florian Plettenberg, Everton has begun discussions to acquire Barcelona youngster Vitor Roque.

The European giants are demanding up to €35m (£30m) for the Brazilian striker.

Plettenberg reported: “FC Everton is exploring a deal to sign Vitor Roque, with a first offer of €25m plus €3m in add-ons.

Barcelona immediately rejected this, seeking €30-35m. It is understood that Everton is in ongoing talks with Deco.

The 19-year-old striker from Barca has a contract until 2031.”

Former Athletico Paranaense director Alexandre Mattos compared Roque to the Brazilian Ronaldo, as per FCBN.

If Everton can reach an agreement with Barcelona, they would be landing a highly promising prospect.

However, Roque has struggled to adapt to life in La Liga since joining in January. There’s a real chance the Brazilian could face similar challenges in the Premier League with Everton if things don’t go as planned.

Everton Are Taking a Big Risk in Pursuing Roque

Roque is undoubtedly a top talent who could develop into one of the world’s best attackers if he makes the right career moves. Everton is taking a significant risk in pursuing the striker.

Historically, the Merseyside giants have had a string of bad luck in signing attackers.

Roque is arguably the most exciting name Everton has been linked with in quite some time.

If Roque moves to Goodison Park, Everton will be under immense pressure to maximize his potential.

The young Brazilian will be eager to prove himself in the Premier League after his struggles at Barcelona.
