The European Series, consisting of eight BetVictor-sponsored events, awards the player with the highest prize money during this period the lucrative bonus. Shaun Murphy won the first event, while Barry Hawkins briefly took the lead after defeating Trump in the European Masters. However, Trump reclaimed the top spot by winning the English and Northern Ireland Opens.

The German Masters has reached its final eight contenders, with Trump set to face John Higgins in the quarter-finals. Reigning champion Ali Carter and Sam Craigie are also in the top half of the draw. The other side features 2019 winner Kyren Wilson, who defeated Neil Robertson, meeting Fan Zhengyi, and Ryan Day facing Si Jiahui. All quarter-final matches are scheduled for Friday at the Tempodrom.
