Everton Star Iliman Ndiaye Admits Fears Over Leicester City Comeback

Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye admitted he feared Leicester City would become the third consecutive team to come from behind and defeat the Toffees.
Everton entered the match at King Power Stadium after squandering 2-0 leads to lose 3-2 in their previous two games.
Ndiaye gave Everton an early lead, but Stephy Mavididi equalized with about 20 minutes left. From that point on, Leicester appeared the more likely side to grab a winner.
Despite the memories of losses to Bournemouth and Aston Villa weighing on Everton, Leicester couldn’t capitalize.
They managed only three more shots, none of which tested Jordan Pickford. A blocked attempt by Facundo Buonanotte was their closest chance to scoring a second.
“That’s what we were thinking about,” Ndiaye told Everton’s official site. “We were leading, and suddenly they caught up and might have won the game.
They created chances, but I wouldn’t say more than us. We need to finish our chances to put the game to bed and stay focused until the final whistle.”
Ndiaye added, “We haven’t been picking up points. Today was crucial for a win, but we leave with a draw. We’ll reflect on what went wrong and right and aim for three points in the next match.”
With this result, both Everton and Leicester remain among the six teams still winless after five Premier League matches.
Leicester currently sits highest of the group, with three points, two clear of the relegation zone.
