“Everton’s SHOCKING Mega-Move: Jaw-Dropping Offer to Snag ‘World-Class’ Superstar Will Leave You Speechless!”

Everton are pushing to sign Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz, with reports from Sport Witness suggesting the two clubs are “not far apart in their valuations.”

Following the arrival of new ownership and the upcoming opening of a new stadium, optimism is once again growing at Everton.

Last season began under the threat of relegation with Sean Dyche at the helm, but his dismissal in January led to a significant turning point.

David Moyes returned for a second stint as Everton manager, 12 years after his first spell ended.

Taking over from Dyche, the former West Ham boss successfully guided the Toffees clear of relegation danger and to a mid-table finish in the Premier League.

The club has already made moves in the summer window, signing striker Thierno Barry from Villarreal following Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s departure as a free agent. Their focus now appears to have shifted to strengthening the midfield.

Everton’s interest in Douglas Luiz, who only joined Juventus from Aston Villa last summer, has grown.

According to journalist Gianni Balzarini via Sport Witness, the Toffees are actively pursuing a deal. Luiz, despite high expectations in Turin, failed to fully settle at Juventus, leading to speculation over his future.

With Abdoulaye Doucoure exiting at the end of the 2024/25 season, Everton are eager to fill the void in midfield.

Luiz, widely regarded as a top-quality talent and already proven in the Premier League, fits the bill.

While Everton are reportedly reluctant to meet Juventus’ full asking price, a loan move has been discussed. Still, Balzarini believes that a permanent transfer agreement is likely to be reached.

Regardless of whether a loan or permanent deal is finalised, Douglas Luiz would be a significant signing for Moyes’ squad, bringing experience, quality, and energy to Everton’s midfield.
