Lyanco, who previously spent three years at Southampton and made 36 Premier League appearances, only left the Saints last summer.

The 28-year-old has impressed in Brazil under Gabriel Milito, contributing four goals this season—highlighting his ability to pose a threat in the opposition’s box as well.

David Moyes is eager to add more depth and experience to Everton’s backline, especially as the club looks to build a balanced and competitive squad.

The manager is also targeting Manchester City’s James McAtee to strengthen his forward options and is keeping tabs on Rangers striker Hamza Igamane to add more firepower alongside Barry and Beto.
