“Excited” – Newcastle United Star Signs with New Agent Amid Contract Speculation
Newcastle United Winger Joins a New Agency

Jacob Murphy, the 29-year-old winger for Newcastle United, has switched agents, marking another significant step in his career.
Murphy has been enjoying his best season to date, securing a regular spot in Eddie Howe’s starting lineup and developing an impressive on-field connection with top striker Alexander Isak.
With five goals and eight assists this season, Murphy’s 13 goal contributions represent his highest tally in a top-flight campaign.
Off the field, Murphy has made a change to his representation, leaving New Era Global Sports, the agency that helped facilitate his £12 million transfer to Newcastle from Norwich City in 2017.
He has now joined Wasserman, a prominent agency in the sports world.

Wasserman announced his signing on X, expressing excitement about Murphy’s fine form, with 12 goal contributions in the Premier League this season alone.
Wasserman is known for representing high-profile players across global football, including Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde.
In the Premier League, their roster includes Liverpool’s Curtis Jones, Manchester City’s Manuel Akanji and John Stones, as well as Bournemouth’s Ilya Zabarnyi.
Several Newcastle players, including Harvey Barnes, Tino Livramento, and Lewis Hall, are also part of the Wasserman family.
As Murphy enters the final two years of his six-year contract with Newcastle, Wasserman’s first priority may be securing him a new deal.
Given his standout performances this season, now would be an opportune time for contract negotiations.
Murphy has received considerable praise from his manager, Eddie Howe, who highlighted his versatility and importance to the team.
Howe recently remarked, “He’s a really valuable player because wherever you put him or whatever you ask him to do, he does it to the best of his ability.”
Howe also noted that Murphy has made significant progress under his guidance.
In addition to his club commitments, Murphy may soon face a decision about his international career.
Reports suggest that Nigeria plans to approach him about switching his allegiance.
While Murphy has represented England at the under-21 level, he has yet to feature for the senior team and is also eligible to play for Nigeria or the Republic of Ireland.
In other developments, a Newcastle United star is set to make his first Premier League start of the season against Nottingham Forest.
