Exclusive: ‘Dazzling’ £18m Winger Eager to Join Leeds United Before Transfer Deadline

Leeds United Face a Chaotic End to the Summer Transfer Window as They Seek New Signings

Crysencio Summerville has joined West Ham United, leaving a gap in the attack, while Georginio Rutter moved from Leeds to Brighton last week.

This has created a significant void that Leeds United is eager to fill.

Norwich City’s Jonathan Rowe has been identified as a potential target by the Elland Road chiefs. However, TBR Football reports that Marseille is currently leading the race for Rowe’s signature, prompting Leeds to explore other options.

Sunderland attacker Jack Clarke is interested in joining Leeds United. Speaking exclusively to TBR Football, journalist Graeme Bailey shared the latest on Leeds United’s interest in the Sunderland winger, who Sunderland News has described as ‘dazzling.’

Bailey said, “They are in the mix for Jack Clarke, and I’m told the player would be happy to move to Elland Road, but there is a lot of interest – the player is expecting to leave Sunderland this month.”

Clarke has yet to agree to a new contract at Sunderland, despite multiple attempts by the club to secure his future.

With two years remaining on his current deal, this summer represents the last opportunity for Sunderland to sell him at his true valuation.

As Clarke’s desire to leave the Stadium of Light becomes evident, Leeds may soon make an initial bid.

Clarke has established himself as one of the top wingers in the Championship in recent seasons, highlighted by his impressive performance last term, where he scored 15 goals and provided four assists despite Sunderland’s struggles.

Given Clarke’s value, Sunderland is keen to receive around £18 million if they are to approve his sale.
