Leeds United appear to have made a significant breakthrough in their pursuit of Slovenian defender Jaka Bijol, who has long been viewed as an ideal target for a potential relegation fight.

Additionally, Bijol has excelled as a central figure in a back three, where his aerial strength and defensive awareness make him a dominant presence.

With that flexibility, Leeds boss Daniel Farke may look to rotate systems depending on tactical needs or the quality of opposition.
