Former Premier League Star Likely to Join West Ham This Summer

Reports in Italy Suggest West Ham Eyeing Move for Roma Striker Tammy Abraham

This summer has seen significant changes at West Ham, with Julen Lopetegui taking the helm and the club making several key signings.

The Hammers have bolstered their squad with the additions of Max Kilman, Crysencio Summerville, Jean-Clair Todibo, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, and Niclas Fullkrug.

West Ham Eyeing European Qualification

The club aims to improve on last season’s ninth-place finish and secure European qualification.

Despite the new arrivals, West Ham is expected to remain active in the transfer market until the window closes at the end of the month.

The acquisition of Fullkrug is hoped to ease the goalscoring pressure on Jarrod Bowen, but another striker may also be on the cards.

According to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Tammy Abraham is a likely target for West Ham this summer, with Roma reportedly seeking €25 million for the striker.

Abraham, who came up through Chelsea’s ranks, joined Roma in the summer of 2021 and has since scored 37 goals and provided 13 assists in 119 appearances.

The 26-year-old has two years left on his contract with Roma but is deemed surplus to requirements following the arrival of Artem Dovbyk from Girona.

Abraham would be a valuable addition to West Ham’s forward line, but it remains to be seen if the club is willing or able to meet Roma’s asking price.

In addition to Fullkrug, the Hammers have Michail Antonio and Danny Ings as striker options, but there is a clear need for more quality in the center-forward position.
