Steelers Strike Deal

The Pittsburgh Steelers have undergone significant changes to their quarterback lineup this offseason, bidding farewell to all three quarterbacks from last season and bringing in notable veterans to fill the gaps. Now, with the addition of veteran quarterback Kyle Allen, the Steelers appear to have solidified their quarterback depth chart.

Allen’s journey to the NFL was unlikely, as he went undrafted in 2018 after limited college experience. Despite the odds, he seized opportunities with the Carolina Panthers, leading them to victories and eventually earning starting roles. His journey took him to Washington and later to the Buffalo Bills, where he served as a backup.

Now, Allen looks to secure the third QB spot for the Steelers, joining the roster alongside Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, who were acquired earlier in the offseason. With Allen onboard, the Steelers’ quarterback lineup seems nearly complete, with potential consideration for a late-round draft pick as the final touch.
