Harry Redknapp has voiced his doubts about Timo Werner, the season-long loan signing who is stepping in for the injured captain, Son Heung-min.
Redknapp believes that Mikey Moore, the 17-year-old talent, is a superior option and ready to compete at the first-team level for Tottenham, as he mentioned during a talkSPORT interview on October 7, 2024.
Moore has already made an impact in the Europa League and has shown promise when coming off the bench in the Premier League.

Redknapp expressed his enthusiasm for Moore, stating, “I like the other kid who came on; I think he looks a better wide left player than Werner.
I know he is just a kid, but he has got something.
He looks like a real player for the future or for now, for me. I think he looks the real deal.”
In contrast, Timo Werner is facing scrutiny. When he rejoined Tottenham, he understood he would primarily serve as a squad player, supporting Son on the left wing.
