Son also emphasized the need to manage excitement around Yang, saying: “He’s only 18. People sometimes get carried away with young players too soon.

I just want him to work hard and focus on helping the team without any unnecessary pressure.”

Yang’s Performance So Far

Yang’s statistics at Gangwon FC showcase his potential. Over the K League 1 season, he registered 12 goals and six assists in 38 appearances, proving his ability to contribute offensively.

While these numbers are not groundbreaking, they reflect a player who knows how to make an impact.

Primarily a right winger, Yang could find opportunities at Tottenham this season.

With Brennan Johnson seemingly out of favor and Dejan Kulusevski excelling in midfield, Yang might get a chance to make his mark.
