BIDS FLYING IN!!! Leeds set to SMASH the transfer market for £15m GOAL MACHINE who’ll be a STRAIGHT UPGRADE on Calvert-Lewin and fire them to the TITLE!!

Leeds United Target Zian Flemming to Strengthen Attack

Leeds United face another challenging Premier League campaign and will need significant investment to avoid being dragged into a relegation fight.

The club’s 49ers ownership group appears ready to back Daniel Farke in the transfer market, with the manager repeatedly stressing the need for more quality within his squad.

A club-record move for goalkeeper James Trafford is reportedly close, while £34m defender Tarik Muharemovic has already arrived.

However, Leeds still need to strengthen their attack if they are to improve on their league position and push towards the top half.

Harry Wilson has joined this summer, but Farke needs another forward to reduce the burden on Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

The striker was Leeds’ leading scorer last season with 14 Premier League goals, but no other senior player reached double figures.

That reliance could become a problem, particularly given Calvert-Lewin’s previous injury concerns.

Lukas Nmecha remains an alternative after scoring six league goals, while Joel Piroe is expected to leave, potentially freeing up funds for another attacking addition.

Leeds therefore need greater depth and a more consistent source of goals.

Julian Brandt had emerged as a major target, but the German midfielder eventually joined Ajax on a free transfer.

Leeds have since turned their attention towards Burnley forward Zian Flemming, with Football Insider reporting genuine interest in the 28-year-old.

Burnley are reportedly demanding around £15m for Flemming and expect offers this summer, while Brentford are also monitoring the Dutchman.

Although some Leeds supporters may be underwhelmed by the potential signing, his numbers suggest he could represent excellent value.

Flemming scored three fewer Premier League goals than Calvert-Lewin last season but played more than 1,000 fewer minutes.

He also required fewer attempts to reach his tally, suggesting greater efficiency in front of goal.

The Burnley forward also offers strength in the air, matching Calvert-Lewin for headed shots per 90 minutes while winning a higher percentage of his aerial duels.

Flemming completed more passes and was also more successful with his dribbles, highlighting his ability to contribute beyond simply scoring goals.

A £15m deal could therefore prove smart business for Leeds.

Flemming would provide competition for Calvert-Lewin, improve attacking depth and give Farke another reliable option.

Most importantly, having two capable strikers competing for the starting role could increase competition and help Leeds build a stronger squad capable of competing higher up the Premier League table.
