Sources reveal Nottingham Forest have struck a deal to land Rangers starlet Blaine McClure.
An announcement is expected soon confirming the 18-year-old defensive midfielder’s move to the City Ground, with the deal now completed.
McClure will join Nottingham Forest on an initial loan, with the option for a permanent transfer at a later stage, according to sources.
The Northern Ireland Under-19 international signed for Rangers from Linfield in the summer of 2023 but failed to register a first-team appearance during his time at Ibrox.

McClure is considered one of the most promising midfielders of his age group, highly rated not only by Rangers but also back home in Northern Ireland.
He has steadily progressed through the international youth ranks and currently represents the Under-19 side, where he has already won 12 caps.
In the second half of last season, McClure gained his first taste of senior football in Scotland through a loan at Kelty Hearts in League One.
He started 10 league matches during his stint, and now he is set for a fresh challenge in England with Nottingham Forest’s youth system.
