‘I’m Not Satisfied’: Mathys Tel Reveals His Frustration Following Tottenham’s Defeat to Wolves

“We need to stay focused from the first to the final whistle.

I think we were a bit unlucky today, and while there were positives, we made too many mistakes, and that’s ultimately why we lost.

“Of course, I’m pleased to score my second Premier League goal, but I always think about the team first.

It’s not just about me – we lost the game, and that overshadows my goal.

We have a big game coming up, and we have to be ready for it. No excuses, we go again and keep pushing.”

With Eintracht Frankfurt up next, Postecoglou will need to quickly identify solutions.

The German side will present a much tougher challenge, especially at home, and Tottenham cannot afford another disjointed performance.

There may even be questions about whether Vicario should be dropped in favor of backup goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky after his poor outing.

Postecoglou, who looked increasingly frustrated and subdued on the touchline, has some critical decisions ahead.

Earlier in the season, it was suggested that the Australian manager would retain his position if he guided Spurs to Europa League glory.

But with another domestic defeat under his belt, there’s growing speculation that chairman Daniel Levy could be reconsidering that stance.
