Newcastle United are closely monitoring Andoni Iraola as a potential managerial option should Eddie Howe decide to move on in the near future.

Defenders Dean Huijsen and Ilia Zabarnyi departed for Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, while left-back Milos Kerkez joined Liverpool.
