‘Insisting’ – Transfer Insider Reveals Tottenham’s Approach to Secure £25m Star in Late Deal
Tottenham Hotspur Have Reportedly Approached Chelsea's Axel Disasi Ahead of Monday’s Deadline, According to Fabrizio Romano

Tottenham Hotspur has faced ongoing injury problems this season, particularly within their defensive ranks.
Players like Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, and Destiny Udogie have been sidelined recently. While van de Ven has made a return, Radu Dragusin has now joined the injury list.
With a depleted defense, it’s clear that manager Ange Postecoglou is looking to bolster his squad.
Spurs have been in talks with AC Milan for a potential deal to sign Fikayo Tomori, but reports suggest that Tottenham could target another center-back in addition to Tomori.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano has stated on X that Spurs are considering Axel Disasi as a serious option to strengthen their defense and have already made an approach to secure his services.
However, acquiring Disasi won’t be straightforward. Aston Villa is also pursuing the 26-year-old and has already reached personal terms with him.
Despite this, Villa has yet to finalize a deal with Chelsea, leaving the door open for Tottenham to make a move.
Romano wrote: “Axel Disasi has been approached by Tottenham as they’re insisting for a new center-back.
Disasi has already agreed on personal terms with Aston Villa and is expected to make a decision soon. It’s now up to the player.”
Disasi, valued at around £25m by Transfermarkt, is under contract with Chelsea until 2029, meaning the Blues will likely demand a significant transfer fee.
After joining from AS Monaco, the 6ft 3in defender has struggled to find his best form in the Premier League with Chelsea, raising questions about why Spurs are targeting him.
It remains to be seen whether Tottenham can successfully lure Disasi away from Stamford Bridge before the winter transfer window closes.
The race to secure his signature promises to be an intriguing one.
