Tottenham Hotspur were pushed to their limits by National League side Tamworth, requiring extra time to secure a 3-0 victory at the modest 4,000-capacity Lamb Ground on Sunday.

However, the game could have turned into one of the biggest upsets in FA Cup history if not for new Spurs goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky, who made a crucial save in stoppage time to deny Tamworth a fairytale moment.
Kinsky, the 21-year-old Czech shot-stopper, delivered an impressive performance, making two key saves, claiming five high balls, and completing 13 recoveries.
He also showed confidence with his distribution, completing 27 of 30 passes.
Postecoglou Praises Kinsky’s Resilience
Kinsky’s composure under pressure was evident as he dealt with Tamworth’s relentless aerial threats from corners and long throws.
This performance followed his stunning debut in Spurs’ 1-0 victory over Liverpool, just days after joining from Slavia Prague.
Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou praised Kinsky’s ability to handle the unique challenges posed by Tamworth:
“Yeah, it was a good challenge for him,” Postecoglou said (via Football.London).
“That’s one of the unique things about Tamworth—every time they get into your half, the ball ends up in your box, whether it’s a throw-in or free-kick. You have to defend in your box.
“I thought Toni and all the lads handled it really well because it’s always a bit of a lottery when it comes in, particularly with the way they launch it. It was good for Toni to get through that.”
Kinsky’s composed display continues to justify his signing, with Spurs relying on his performances in high-pressure situations.
