“Jason Tindall EXPLODES Over Alexander Isak’s Aston Villa Flop Rumors – You Won’t Believe His Outrageous Defense!”
Newcastle Fall Flat as Aston Villa Shine on Saturday

Newcastle just didn’t seem at the races. When even Jacob Murphy, arguably our only world-class performer on the day, has an off game, it’s hardly shocking that the rest of the team struggled.
In truth, none of our key players showed up. It’s hard to believe now—just a couple of days later—that Alexander Isak was even on the pitch for the majority of the match.
The usually lethal forward endured another quiet outing, failing to find the net for the third time in four games.
While it might be tempting to point fingers at Isak, the reality is he’s often isolated up top, with little service or support.

Against such dominant opposition on Saturday, he didn’t really stand a chance.
However, Jason Tindall didn’t quite see it that way. When asked by BBC Radio Newcastle whether the team had trouble bringing Isak into the game, Tindall disagreed.
“I wouldn’t say we struggled to get him involved,” Tindall said. “Alex has been outstanding for us.
He’s scored 25 goals this season through consistency. He’s been excellent.
As a striker, you’ll have games where things don’t go your way, but you can never question his effort or what he’s contributed all season.”
Tindall’s comment felt like a missed opportunity to deflect criticism from Isak.
By insisting there were no issues getting him involved, it somewhat implies the onus was on the player rather than the system—or his teammates. That’s just how it came across.
No one is disputing how good Isak has been this season. But in this particular game, he was practically invisible, and Tindall was given a perfect opportunity to shift the narrative but declined.
That said, there’s reason for optimism. Isak’s only hat-trick for Newcastle came at Portman Road, and with Ipswich set to visit St James’ Park on Saturday, it could be the ideal moment for the Swedish striker to rediscover his scoring touch.
A strong showing this weekend would be the perfect response and could help erase the memory of his recent dry spell.
