John Wenham: Daniel Levy Decides on Postecoglou’s Future After Tottenham vs Frankfurt

Tottenham Hotspur played out a 1-1 draw with Frankfurt at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on April 10, in the first leg of their UEFA Europa League quarter-final tie.

Wenham believes the manager will be sacked if Spurs fail to reach the Europa League semi-finals.

Wenham expressed frustration over the team’s performance, particularly in the first half, which he described as lacking quality from both sides.

While Spurs created several chances in the second half, they failed to capitalize on them, which was disappointing given Frankfurt’s defensive approach.

However, Wenham still believes Tottenham will need a strong performance in Germany to progress to the next round.

If Tottenham are eliminated from Europe, their season could end without a trophy and with a mid-table finish in the Premier League.

In that scenario, it would be hard to justify keeping Postecoglou at the helm.
