Scottish journalist Mark Guidi believes Rangers could see a significant increase in Igamane’s value if they decide to keep him for another season.

Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show (March 10), Guidi suggested that while the club might receive around £5 million for the Moroccan forward this summer, his price tag could rise to £12 million–£15 million within a year.

Guidi argued that patience could pay off for the Glasgow club, stating:

“Igamane burst onto the scene and had a brilliant seven to eight weeks. His goal-scoring form has dipped slightly, but he’s still contributing to the team.

Rangers signed him for around £1.5 million, and if they sell him in the summer, they might get £5 million.

However, if they keep him, coach him properly, and allow him to develop further, they could command £12 million–£15 million in a year’s time.”

The journalist believes the forward has the potential to make a significant impact over the next 12 months, which could substantially boost his market value.

49ers Enterprises Could Build Around Igamane

With Andrew Cavenagh and 49ers Enterprises poised to take over at Rangers, the new owners might see Igamane as a key figure in their long-term project.

Despite his recent dip in form, the young Moroccan has already demonstrated his quality, making him an asset worth investing in.

Since Barry Ferguson took over as interim manager, Cyriel Dessers has led the line for Rangers.

However, the Nigerian striker’s future remains uncertain, especially after he was linked with a move away during the winter transfer window.

Many Rangers supporters have expressed frustration with Dessers’ inconsistent performances, particularly under Clement.

Earlier in the season, Igamane and Danilo had edged ahead of Dessers in the pecking order, but the Nigerian found his way back into the starting lineup following Danilo’s injury.
