Journalist Provides Latest Update on Calvert-Lewin’s Contract Situation at Everton

According to TBR Football journalist Bailey, Everton believe Dominic Calvert-Lewin could commit to a new contract if the team can regain form, despite increasing interest from other clubs.

The striker’s current deal expires at the end of the season, and while he is open to a pre-contract agreement, Everton remain optimistic about retaining him.

Speaking to Everton News (16 January), Bailey stated: “The belief in the club is that they can still get him to sign a new deal. With Moyes coming in, if they can build momentum, there’s confidence.

But obviously, he’s open to a pre-contract, and there’s interest. Everton haven’t completely given up on Calvert-Lewin yet.”

Everton Must Decide Calvert-Lewin’s Future Soon

Everton cannot afford to wait indefinitely for Calvert-Lewin to decide his next move. The Toffees are in urgent need of funds to strengthen their squad before the 3 February transfer deadline.
