Jade and Evan McClintock tied the knot in an intimate ceremony over the weekend. Jade announced the joyous occasion on Instagram on Monday, expressing her delight in becoming a wife.
“Starting this week as a wife,” she captioned her post. “The weekend celebration was perfect and beautiful beyond our expectations. We shared countless happy tears, laughs, smiles, and an overwhelming amount of love.”
The couple, who began dating in 2016, got engaged in February 2023. Their wedding took place in Battle Creek, Michigan, approximately 120 miles west of Eminem’s cherished hometown of Detroit.
Jade, co-host of the Just a Little Shady pop culture podcast, has kept her relationship with McClintock fairly private. She has been featured in over 20 songs by her Grammy-winning father, Eminem, including “Dear Hailie.”
Eminem frequently rapped about his tumultuous relationship with Jade’s mother, Kim Scott, and his love for his daughter.
In the 2002 track “Dear Hailie,” he expressed his love for his then-7-year-old daughter, rapping, “Man, if I could sing, I’d keep singin’ this song to my daughter / If I could hit the notes, I’d blow somethin’ as long as my father / To show her how I feel about her, how proud I am that I got ‘er.”
Photos published by TMZ showed Eminem dancing with his daughter at the reception, dressed in a classic black tuxedo and wearing black shades.
According to the outlet, rap icons Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, and Jimmy Iovine were also in attendance at the wedding.
