Souttar’s Future at Rangers Uncertain Amid Contract Standstill

Scotland international John Souttar has been one of Rangers’ standout performers this season, but his long-term future at Ibrox remains uncertain.

“Souttar’s had a contract offer there for three or four months, and he’s not signed it yet.

Now, we’re getting to the point where he’ll have just a year left in the summer,” Guidi explained.

He emphasized that Rangers cannot afford to lose players for free and urged the club to resolve the matter before the transfer window closes.

“Rangers have always said they can’t let players leave for nothing. So, what’s the plan for Souttar? Don’t let him enter the final year without committing.

Either get him to sign or see what’s available in the market,” he added.

Amid Souttar’s contract uncertainty, a potential takeover at Rangers could impact the club’s ability to retain key players.
