Leeds United Eyeing Another Daniel Farke Reunion with Tottenham’s 23-Year-Old Midfielder – The Athletic

Leeds United are targeting a summer deal to sign Tottenham midfielder Oliver Skipp as they prepare for another promotion push.

Under Daniel Farke, Leeds dazzled during the 23/24 season, but their 90 points fell short of securing a return to the Premier League.

As Leeds gear up for another attempt, their summer transfers will be crucial in shaping their season’s prospects.

According to The Athletic, Leeds are eyeing potential early transfer moves, including a possible reunion for Farke with a former Norwich player.

Tottenham’s Oliver Skipp, who was on loan at Carrow Road during Norwich’s Championship-winning 20/21 season, is on Leeds’ radar.

Such a signing would likely respond to any PSR-related sales, potentially including the departure of Archie Gray.

Currently, there are no concrete offers or imminent exit for the 18-year-old, but Leeds’ recruitment team is proactively planning.

Skipp is in a transitional phase at Spurs, good enough for the Premier League but not quite fitting a team aspiring for Champions League football.

At 23, Skipp has only had one season of regular football, at Norwich, making a transfer away a plausible move.

While a permanent deal seems unlikely, Skipp is a strong candidate if Leeds are seeking midfield reinforcements.
