However, this figure is reportedly below Norwich’s valuation of the England U21 international.
Football Insider has indicated that Norwich’s asking price for Rowe is set at £15 million. Rowe, who has one year remaining on his contract with an option for an additional year, is considered a key asset.
Acquiring players with Premier League potential while in the Championship presents clear challenges, primarily due to the high valuations of such players.
Additionally, rival clubs are often reluctant to sell to competitors within the same division, as it would weaken their own team while bolstering a direct rival.
A similar situation occurred with Jayden Bogle, where Sheffield United required Leeds to more than double their initial £3 million offer for the right-back.
Ultimately, Leeds agreed to a £5 million deal, meeting in the middle with Sheffield United.
Given this, it is feasible that Leeds could reach a compromise on the fee for Rowe, negotiating a sum between £7 million and £15 million to finalize the deal.
Leeds’ experience with Gabriel Sara, who joined Galatasaray for £15 million in a structured deal with significant add-ons, shows that there is room within their budget to secure high-value players.
