Leeds on Alert as Premier League Club Plans to Sanction Loan Move for Attacker – Report

According to The Sun journalist via his Patreon page (4 August), Crystal Palace’s Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has been informed he can be loaned out for the season following an unusual pre-season stint in America where he remained an unused substitute.

Sheffield United, Hull City, QPR, and Watford are all vying for the winger’s services, with the London clubs potentially having an edge due to their proximity to Palace and Rak-Sakyi’s home.

The player is expected to choose his next club within the next few days, potentially debuting for a new team as the Championship season kicks off next weekend.

Leeds United are keen to enhance their attacking options ahead of the new Championship season, especially after losing Crysencio Summerville to West Ham United in a significant transfer.

While Wilfried Gnonto, Dan James, and Georginio Rutter are still available, additional depth is necessary for Leeds to make a strong push for Premier League promotion.

Rak-Sakyi, though not highly experienced, has shown promise both at Palace and during his loan spell at Carlton Athletic in League One, making him an appealing prospect.

Similar to last season’s acquisition of Jaidon Anthony, Leeds does not require a winger who will start every game, but one who can provide valuable depth as fixtures accumulate.

Securing Rak-Sakyi’s loan would be a smart move for Leeds, enhancing their squad effectively.

A decision on his destination should be imminent, and Leeds will hope to secure him before their Championship rivals do.
